What is Restylane?

What is Botulinum Toxin A?

Popular areas are the frown lines (glabella) between the eyes, the forehead and around the eyes (peri-orbital).

We recommend using Botulinum Toxin A with Restylane to achieve the best results. Injections can be given at different intervals, as required.

Injections last 3 to 6 months.

What about Treatments?

Treatments normally last less than 30 minutes and there is no need for pre-testing. You will see the result instantly and the effect will typically last from 6 months to over a year, with the duration varying between individuals and treatment areas. As injections degrade over time, you are always in control.

Our experienced nurses inject Restylane into the skin in tiny amounts using a very fine needle. The method of injecting Restylane is fast and safe and leaves no scars or other traces on the face.

 

Pain relief can easily be arranged although it is not required by all patients. Lip treatments usually require a local anaesthetic. Otherwise, prior to your procedure, a topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area.

Immediately after the treatment, you can expect a slight redness, slight swelling, tenderness and an itching sensation in the treated area. This is a normal result of the injection.

The discomfort is temporary and generally disappears quickly. When it comes to lip augmentation, the swelling may last longer. During this time, the lips can look somewhat uneven. This means that the result directly after the treatment should not be regarded as the final result. If the discomfort continues or if other reactions occur, you should always call us..

A touch-up treatment 2-4 weeks after the initial treatment may be necessary to achieve an optimal correction and duration.
